Business Growth Law® Consulting Services was established in Auckland in 2010, in response to demand for cost-effective pre-legal business consulting services.
Mike Battersby – Program Manager – Auckland
Mike has over 20 years experience as a commercial and intellectual property lawyer. He retired as a practicing lawyer in June 2019.
Mike holds an Mcom Law (Hons) from Auckland University and became a member of IPSANZ (Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand) in 2002. He was Vice-President of the New Zealand Technology Law Society from 2002 to 2007.
Mike won the New Zealand Law Society Innovative Lawyer Award for the Business Growth Law Program in 2012.
Jill Zheng – Training & Support Consultant
Jill is from Fujian Province and has a Master of Business Management from the University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Agriculture Science from Nanjing Agriculture University.
Jill is an expert in B2C and B2B marketing, branding and business development in Asia.
She also operated her own NZ/China Trading Platform and has worked for a leading NZ venture capital firm.
Sara Al Kabban – Training & Support Consultant – Dubai
Sara is of Iraqi descent and grew up in Auckland, graduating from the University of Auckland with a double major in Law and Psychology in 2014.
Sara is now working as Legal Manager at Al Kabban & Associates Advocates in Dubai. Sara is interested in international law and trade, particularly between New Zealand and the Middle East.
Erica Lee – Training & Support Consultant – Melbourne
Erica is an experienced commercial and litigation lawyer working in Melbourne. Erica is fluent in Korean and is an accomplished public speaker and translator.
Erica has a strong involvement in the Korean community in Auckland, Melbourne and also Korea.
Giang Thu (Lyn) Pham – Training & Support Consultant – Auckland
Peter Shi – Consultant – Inbound/Outbound China Business
Peter has a long-term involvement in inbound/outbound China business.
He is an experienced company director and international business advisor and since 2001 has owned a manufacturing business in Shanghai supplying hardware products to the New Zealand market.
Peter originally qualified as a lawyer in China and practiced for a number of years as a commercial lawyer in both China and New Zealand.
